Lingering Fineness and Density in Grey!!
They have arrived! Centaur's first class of crias have hit the ground and we are extremely pleased. Not only do they all carry an amazingly fine fleece, but they all have very square, solid conformation and beautiful, uniform heads and complete coverage. We did not breed him to any grey females in 2009 & 2010, but he has produced 8 greys so far. He produced black and grey crias 100% of the time when bred to black or grey dams, and 65% of t... |

The only thing keeping this boy out of the top three placements of any show is a little time . . . time to fill out. His fleece is undeniably the finest, most uniform grey fleece that we have ever produced . . . 17.1 microns!
Unfortunately, we lost his mom when he was just 4 months old, so he is still playing catchup to his same-age buddies. The judges comments in both large shows he attended were "finest fleece in the class, but needs to fill out."
It's no surprise that his fleece is so nice . . . but he is even finer than either his super-fine sire, Silver Centaur, and his beautiful true black Dam, Faith. We see him developing before our eyes, and we can't wait to show him in the Spring of 2013! Perhaps the biggest compliment he received was from the hand-spinner that picked his grey fleece above all the others in our 2012 clip!
Stay tuned for more good things to come with this little guy!
